Manufacturing process

le bois reticulé

A UNIQUE MATERIAL : RETICULATED WOOD

Reticulated wood is obtained by an exclusive process from beech powder brought to a temperature of 200°C and pressed with a strength of more than 400 tons! The result is a wood as hard as a rock; a guarantee for a long resistance.

Un savoir-faire unique TWO SURFACE TREATMENTS – A UNIQUE KNOW-HOW

OLFA offers:
- an incredible range of colours (more than 140 colours, matched with all the nuances of ceramics). All these colours are made of polyurethane lakes, highly resistant and impermeable to ultraviolet rays.
- around 30 designs, according to the fashion trends. Each design, hand-placed, is laminated in the mass (seat and cover).
Result: Each design is an "original" model with a non-porous and unalterable surface.

des test impitoyables pour une fiabilité unique

MERCILESS TESTS FOR A UNIQUE RELIABILITY

Each model is conceived with very resisting materials (stainless steel AISI304 hinges, plastic nuts which are not corroding and not binding, bi-material buffers…). Our seats must support merciless tests : 100 000 “lift and release” cycles, 75 kilos falling on the seat for 50 000 cycles, resistance to acids and cleaning products…

Une adaptabilité universelle

UNIVERSAL ADAPTABILITY

All OLFA models have the shapes and dimensions of standard toilet bowls and are equipped with adjustable fixing set.
Result: they fit all the important European and International sanitary brands.

Une hygiène parfaite

PERFECT HYGIENE

Non-porous, smooth and shiny surfaces, shapes without hidden spaces, hinges with enough space between the seat and the pan, are the warranty of quality of the OLFA toilet seats. Moreover, the "clip system" of the Ariane model is another element that makes the cleaning easier.
